FRIDAY LEAGUE

 

Join us for Friday League every Friday afternoon for the rest of the season for this friendly competition.

Open to all Club members. Young and not so young, new to the game or an experienced player, novice, or county level - all invited. No booking: just turn up on the day for a fun social afternoon to kick start your weekend.  We start at 2.00pm sharp but be there by 1.30pm to register and change.

Dress is Greys - no jeans please. 16 ends. Format, triples, rinks etc is dependent on the number of players who turn up on the day. All Club rules apply.

Teams, positions, and rink numbers all chosen out of the hat at the start of each game. Points awarded for winning and for just coming along. Bonus points awarded when your team scores 10 points or more. Be there every week and up the league ladder you will go.

Full time tea and biscuits and the occasional cake included in the 50p match fee.

An ideal way to get to know your fellow Club members, learn the game and practice your bowling skills. We are always supportive and encouraging, especially to new bowlers.
